21st - 24th November, 2018
437 girls from Noida braved plummeting morning temperatures to be part of the #STEM4GirlsFestival2018 at the Covestro factory. After two sessions in Mumbai and Calicut, we were excited to inspire the young girls in Noida with interaction and experiments. Noida is the abbreviation for the ‘New Okhla Industrial Development Authority’, which is a systematically planned satellite city of Delhi.
These four days were quite emotional since we learnt how the speakers overcame the obstacles to achieve their dreams. The students joining us in Noida were mainly from less privileged society. We aimed to impact their lives through the STEM festival, an ongoing platform to carry that experience forward.
The schools attending were: Father Agnel School, Vedic Kanya Inter College Dadri, M.C Gopichand, DAV Girls, Navjeevan Intercollege, Nehru Smarak Inter College, KCS Girls Inter College, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Inter College, Noida Kanya Inter College and Chaudhary Keshram Inter College.
